We were all privileged to hear Mom and Emily perform their piano duets with Dr. Dean in the St George Tabernacle this evening. They both did an amazing job!

Megan performs at the St George Opera House

Megan's dance company (Trio) held its annual recital at the Opera House. Megan performed  several dances, one of which was an amazing solo. Her company would not allow us to photograph or video the event so all we have is this one photo of her following the recital.

Tim in Seattle for IMCA Conference

I left early Sunday morning on the 6am flight. That sure put a damper on the weekend. I was able to get an exit row seat which made sleeping a bit more comfortable.

As I looked out the window at Mt. Rainier, an avalanche of memories come upon me of climbing that mountain with dad a couple years ago. They were generally good although I did have a feeling of nausea and dehydration come back to me pretty clearly.

I arrived in Seattle, cabbed it to the hotel and went over to setup for the conference. I then enjoyed some Bang Bang Chicken at The Cheesecake Factory after which I walked over to REI and browsed for a little while. The next few days will be spent hustling in the conference hall.

A walk around downtown Seattle. The trees are painted blue.

Relay for Life

Staying up all night isn't as easy as it seems! Success Academy put together a team to walk for relay. We walked all night long. It got cold around 3 am, but we made it through taking turns walking the track. There were about 50 people on our team, raising at least $1250 for breast cancer. On Friday night we hung out with the starwars crew for a bit. I was as tired as I have ever been in my life all day Saturday!
