Tim & Shelley go to the Big Island of Hawaii

Day 1 - Travel day... Arrived late last night after a looooong day of travel. Went straight to bed.

Day 2 - Waipio Valley and the "black sand beach"

We got up early again and had a breakfast buffet. We then headed down the coast to Big Sur. We stopped frequently to take photos and keep mom under an eight. We stopped and a fantastic beach and played for a little while.

Lunch near the Big Sur general store and campgrounds.

We stopped and enjoyed the smells of Elephant Seal Beach. There we thousands of seals covering the  beach for nearly a mile. They were fun to watch and listen to.

We made a brief stop at Cayucos to stretch and walk the pier.

We were able to see some dolphins jumping in the bay.

We then headed for our hotel in Santa Maria where we stayed the night.
